Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I graduated from St. F. X. University with my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. I later attended the University of San Diego to achieve my Masters in Educational Leadership. My husband and I moved to Fort McMurray on the “two-year" plan in 1985 and have been here ever since. The scenery is beautiful - we love the many trails around our home. Fort McMurray has a giving heart. This is our town; it has been good to us and we are proud to call it home.
